Fleet Insulation Company was formed in 1979 and incorporated in 1981 to provide a comprehensive service in all types of thermal insulation and sheet metal work, acoustic insulation and fire protection. In 1984, Fleet Insulation Company Limited obtained a licence from the Health and Safety Executive to work with and remove asbestos and to date, hold a full licence to work with all types of asbestos.
We also undertake asbestos management, refurbishment & demolition surveys, as well as preparing detailed asbestos management plans and providing professional advice & consultancy.
Fleet Insulation Company Limited are proud of the fact that many of our clients have remained with us from the outset, having worked together on a wide range of projects and continue to go from strength to strength. We have carried out both large and small contracts for the Government Ministries and Departments, NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, Facilities Management companies, Exhibition Centres, Data Centres, Schools and Care Homes throughout the United Kingdom.
We have also carried out overseas projects, working as far afield as the Falkland Islands, Ascension Islands and St Helena in the South Atlantic Ocean.
Asbestos removal
We will undertake all types of work with asbestos, e.g. remedial, encapsulation or removal safely, efficiently and effectively.
Thermal insulation
We specialise in the installation and maintenance of thermal insulation, repair and upgrading of insulation to existing services within hospitals, factories, offices, hotels and retails sites.
Fire protection
We can install fire stop and fire protection systems to a very high standard using a variety of materials including Rockwool, Beam Clad & Intumescent coated fire batt, Supalux, Master Board and Vicuclad products.
Ductwork
Our skilled ductwork engineers are able to inspect and test fusible link fire dampers, produce in depth reports and undertake all required maintenance, repair of replacement as required.
Our companies accreditations
The company has been a member of the Thermal Insulation Contractors Association (TICA) since 1987 and joined the Asbestos Control & Abatement Division (ACAD) when it was formed in 1994.
We have a certificate of accreditation from the Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) and have met the pre-qualification requirements of Constructionline.
Fleet Insulation Company Limited retain a highly competent and experienced workforce, most of whom have been with us for many years’. As members of the Insulation and Educational Training Association (IETA), we support both IETA’s and ACAD training schemes with many of our employees having completed apprenticeships and received City & Guild/ NVQ qualifications for either installation of thermal insulation or removal of asbestos containing materials.
